Obama Wins!

It is now time for baseball writers and fans to begin to think about the years' Cy Young Award winner.  The Cy Young Award is, for the non-baseball literate, the award given to the pitcher who is theoretically the best for the year, or who alternately has the greatest positive impact on his team's success for the year.

Fans are debating who will win - there's a great case for Greinke (with an absolutely astounding 2.16 ERA - and that in the American League!) and I personally think Chris Carpenter (with 17 wins in 28 starts and a 2.24 ERA) are the best candidates.  But there is controversy.

For it seems that this year, those invited to vote for the Cy Young Award winners are not necessarily looking for who has accomplished most this season, but rather for that pitcher who shows the most promise.

Therefore, I am going out on a limb and predicting that Barack Hussein Hoover Pinnochio Muhammad bin Obama will win the Cy Young Award for 2009.

He has certainly been "pitching" since early 2008....

What?  You say he doesn't deserve the Cy Young Award?

Heck, he's done at least as much to deserve the Cy Young Award as he has to deserve the Nobel Prize.

While, I think, Obama would admit that he does not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath with Steve Carlton, Randy Johnson, Tom Seaver, Warren Spahn, and the great Sandy Koufax, nevertheless, his attempts to dismantle the American experiment will likely positively lead baseball into a new day typified by hope, change, and... uhhhhhhhh, well, maybe Europeans will have a chance to win the baseball gold medal in the Olympics hereafter?  That's gotta be worth something, right?

Baseball writers are being criticized for even considering Obama in a process that is being labeled both "premature" and "politically based."  However, one writer has stated, based on assurances of anonymity,

“We definitely feel that Obama has changed the international climate [of baseball] and contributed far more than any other candidate to fraternity among [baseball teams and leagues.  Besides, we are willing to give him time to work on that fastball.]  “It has happened many times in the past that the award has been used to encourage further achievement” [including the motivation to develop some serious mojo and maybe even work on that knuckleball a little].

While acknowledging that President Obama's pitching game has yet to produce many results, nevertheless certain baseball writers are hopeful that awarding him the Cy Young Award will help him to advance his agenda.

Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, when asked whether Obama should be given this year's Cy Young Award, replied...

"What has Obama done to deserve this prize? The jury put store on his hope for a [killer fastball], forgetting his role in perpetuating [the financial fiasco that was the Montreal Expos], and his decision to install new [steroid factories] in [American League cities].  For the first time, we are witnessing an award with the nominee having done nothing to deserve it: rewarding someone for a wish that is very far from becoming reality."

Chavez then said that giving Barack the Cy Young award would be as stupid as rewarding a pitcher for promising that he would strike out 500 batters and win 50 games in a year.

A lot of insight that Chavez fellow has when it comes to the game of baseball.

Chavez added that to give Obama the Cy Young Award would be like awarding the Nobel prize to someone based on their desire to dialogue with terrorists and conducting an apology tour around the world.  Or maybe he didn't.  But that stuff about rewarding someone for wishes instead of reality he definitely said.

A couple of cogent observations and questions...

1) Exactly why is it that Democrats become upset when the polices of Obama, and the zombie-like response to him (which at BEST can be described as a personality cult), are characterized by those who have read a book at some point in their lives as fascist?

2) The mindless Messianism which is the Obamazombie cult has officially graduated from semi-retarded to creepy.

3) Liberals like to pretend that theirs is an intellectual position and that conservatives are anachronistic throwbacks to a pre-intellectual age.  Yet, where exactly is the mindless will-worship located - on the left or on the right?  Anybody ever seen anything like this associated with George W. Bush?  George the Elder?  Reagan?  Coolidge?

4) There has not been an honest man heading the Democrat party (and barely one in the party at all, with kudos to Joe Lieberman) since Michael Dukakis, and there has not been a thinking man in the Democrat Party since the passing of Daniel Patrick Moynihan.  It is apparent from this clip that Progressivism/Statism is no longer an intellectual phenomenon, but is rather a religious phenomenon.

5) At least the Hitler Youth didn't recruit until a kid turned 14....

Newsweek Nails It!: Obama is a Marxist!

Out of the mouth of babes and the mainstream media, every once in a while you get profundity.

My uncle reads Newsweek, I don't. So he saved the February 16, 2009 copy for me, and it had THIS on the cover:

Now of course, if a Conservative makes this same observation, he is a "right-wing extremist." Everyone from Mike Savage to Sean Hannity to Joe the Plumber to John McCain have been criticized for utilizing the word in connection with The One.

And yes, the story on the inside, written by Jon Meacham and Evan Thomas, ties this "socialism" that "we all are" now to the policy of Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama. The story specifically states that Obama is going much further than even the free-spending Bush while "reversing Bill Clinton's end of big government" [sic]. And the article casts its own lot with Obama's spending-like-water goals, asserting (without proof) that "an aging population and global warming and higher energy costs will demand more taxing and spending."

Of course, the story is strangely silent about the fact that the retirement savings of the aging population was wiped out by Democratic social engineering in the housing market, that high energy costs will be caused by Socialist global warming nonsense, and that, well, that global warming is so much Socialist nonsense designed specifically not to respond to a real threat, but rather to put the brakes on the free market and transfer power to national governments and international non-governmental organizations. But all that is beside the point! The good news is, we're all Socialists with the advent of The One.

A moment of honesty (unintended, I am sure) was induldged in by our Newsweek heroes, when they note "The catch [of all this expanding Socialist governance] is that more government intrusion in the economy will almost surely limit growth (as it has in Europe, where a big welfare state has caused chronic high unemployment)." Emphasis added.

The article concludes: "Growth has always been America's birthright and saving grace." But look for that growth to stop, Komrade!

In an adjacent story by Michael Freedman (who seems to barely be able to restrain his orgasmic delight long enough to type his story), the claim is made that the long-term effects of Obama's policies "will be a steady drift toward what could be called a European model of governance, regulation, and paternalism. Already, big government is on the rise - projected public spending figures show the United States will move ever closer to European averages over the next two years." The U.S. government will begin regulating "with big brother vigilance," turning entire industries into "virtual wards of the state." Of course, restraint is not always a good thing, as we learn when Freedman indulges in some journalistic cheerleading, "This is all likely to prove very popular if the conventional wisdom [read: the hopes of the mainstream media elites] is right."

How is that whole hopey-changey thing working out for ya? Oddly enough, all these ideas have been tried before. But rather than being "tried and true," it seems they are "tried and tattered."

Democrats are Fools (With Proof!)

Conservatives are often presented as being somehow less-than-brilliant. On MSNBC recently, Janeane Garofalo asserted, "The limbic brain inside a right-winger, or Republican, or Conservative, or your average white-power activist... the limbic brain is much larger in their headspace than in a reasonable person, and it's pushing against the frontal lobe, so their synapses are misfiring.... It is a neurological problem that we are dealing with."





Yet when the positions of Conservatives and Liberals in the modern world are compared, it is clearly evident that Liberalism is wholly composed of anti-intellectualism. Every single logical error known to man is duplicated continuously by liberals.

Garofalo herself is an example. She has nothing meaningful to say about any political issue whatsoever, so she simply practices the attack against the man error, called in philosophy the error of the ad hominem attack. She assumes, with no evidence other than her own prejudices, that those who disagree with her are retarded with swollen brains, racists, violent, and irrational.

Yet she offers nothing other than constant slander to prove her points.

Further, these "brilliant" liberals are known for their own personal incompetence (Carter, Clinton, and now Obama), hardly the mark of intelligence.

Liberalism constantly pleads two inconsistent sides of the same issue. This is never more clearly in evidence than in every single assertion made by feminists.

Feminists simultaneously offer that women are capable of anything that men can do. Then they demand affirmative action and governmental subsidies so that women can get busy doing what men are already doing.

Feminists simultaneously offer that women are incapable of lying about sexual violence, then demand that evidentiary standards for such allegations be lowered because, too often, when a woman makes an allegation her allegation is wholly unsubstantiated or contains volumes of contradictory testimony.

Even economically, this very week Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama demonstrated his utter comfort with inconsistency when he urged "fiscal responsibility" by demanding that his cabinet find a way to cut $100 million from its operating budget. This, after he singlehandedly has proposed enough spending in less than 100 days in office to double the entire federal budget, built from the year 1776 to the end of the Bush administration.

John McCain and George W. Bush spent much of the time period from 2001-2008 warning Congress that Democratic initiatives enacted under Bill Clinton to lend mortgage money to minorities who could not afford to buy homes had the potential to wipe out the American economy. Democrats like Barney Frank and Charles Schumer actively argued that Republicans were wrong in their warnings, and Barack Obama conveniently ignored such warnings. Today, of course, Democrats say that the meltdown was George W. Bush's fault.

Finally, Democrats are the masters of the "Big Lie" concept of Goebbels, who said, when he was a Nazi propagandist, "Tell a lie big enough, long enough, and people will believe it." Perhaps the greatest illustration of this is the continued warbling of ignorant libs that there was "no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq." Of course, it is a long-established fact that sarin gas was found in Iraq, and sarin gas is a "weapon of mass destruction."

So given that all of the evidence and logic is on the side of Conservatives, I once thought that Democrats were merely liars - that nobody was as stupid as they constantly pretend to be. But then today I ran across this quote from one of the Godfathers of Liberalism in America. And this quote, coupled with the 100-year history of liberalism in America, simply makes me think that Liberalism/Marxism/being a Democrat/whatever is simply an intentional, morally-culpable excursion into utter stupidity.

William O. Douglas was a Supreme Court Justice for nearly 37 years (the longest-serving justice ever), retiring in 1975. He is widely regarded as the greatest liberal legal mind of his age. University of Chicago president Robert Maynard Hitchens called Douglas "the most outstanding law professor in the nation" before his appointment to the Supreme Court.

Yet, what was Douglas' view of his own "decision making" from the bench?

"At the constitutional level where we work, 90 percent of any decision is emotional. The rational part of us supplies the reasons for supporting our predilections."

Did you catch that?

Mr. Brainy, excuse me, JUSTICE BRAINY, said, "I come to my liberalism honestly. I make up my mind based on my emotions then I just use my mind to figure out some way to justify what I already want to do." One of the leading "intellectuals" of the liberal movement admits - well, he admits he isn't really an intellectual. He just "feels" things. He is led by his emotions, not his mind. Sort of like your average 17-year old girl.

Perhaps it is not the Conservatives who are the anti-intellectuals, Ms. Garofalo?

Barack Obama: Yet Another Lying Liberal

So, "The Bow" wasn't really a bow, was it? Billy Bob Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama was merely reaching out to grab some short guy's hand to properly shake it, huh?

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, in a news briefing, had this exchange with reporters:

GIBBS: No, I think he bent over with both to shake -- with both hands to shake his hand, so I don't...

QUESTION: (OFF-MIKE) one hand, that he -- he was just...

GIBBS: Well I -- I -- I -- this is...

QUESTION: Did he bow or didn't he?

GIBBS: No, but I think this meeting was like a week ago, right?

And an anonymous White House told Politico.com the following: "It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah."

Right.

So now the White House is speaking, once again, with the forked tongue and Arkansan accent of our last great Democratic Leader. Which got me thinking about Obama's truthfulness generally.

Of course, people in the know warned that Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama was the most liberal member of the senate when he was running for office. Unfortunately, the folks who voted for him don't understand reality enough to differentiate between "tax and spend" and "rock star," so it really didn't matter. Nevertheless, the striking contrast between the "moderate" pose struck during the campaign and the reality of the first less-than-hundred days is worth noting.

* After the banks have twice been bailed out, Obama's proposed budget contains nearly $750 billion to bail them out once again (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=washingtonstory&sid=aY8vuevw1NKs ).

* Obama is proposing nearly $1 trillion dollars in NEW taxes beginning in 2011, with almost $650 BILLION of that falling on individuals, not the hated "corporations" that liberals aspire to destroy (http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/02/obamas-budget-a.html ).

*Obama ADMITS that his budget would cause a spike in the single-year deficit to unheard-of proportions, escalating the deficit nearly $2 trillion dollars to almost $4 trillion dollars (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D96JCFLG1&show_article=1 ).

* Spending for Fiscal Year 2009 under Obama will be approximately $12,000 for EVERY AMERICAN - not every family - but EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN.

So it should come as no surprise that, like all Democrats, Obama, following in the path blazed by convicted perjurer Bill('sAFool) Clinton, is an inveterate liar.

* After flooding radio airwaves during his presidential campaign stating the absurdity that both he and McCain would equally preserve and protect the Second Amendment rights of Americans, The Liar now threatens a (so-called) "assault weapons ban" - realizing full well that "assault weapons" are not "assault weapons" at all, but rather are "scary looking" (http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=6960824&page=1 ).

* While admitting that his ridiculous budget proposals will produce increasing deficits for as far as the eye can see, The Liar titles his budget "A NEW ERA OF RESPONSIBILITY" (http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/assets/fy2010_new_era/A_New_Era_of_Responsibility2.pdf ).

I am introducing legislation to Congress this week to deny all former Obama voters the privilege of voting until they have read at least one newspaper before the next election.

"Diversity" Is Stupid

I recently dropped by the hospital that my wife works at to have lunch with her. In the cafeteria, there was a big banner strung over the entire length of one of the walls touting the hospital's "Commitment to Diversity." Then there were several terms superimposed over black, white, asian, hispanic, east indian, etc., people which apparently are virtues that I am supposed to associate with the concept of "Diversity": opportunity, fairness, perspective... blah blah blah.

Sitting there, I tried to contain both my rage and the incomprehensible desire to spew food in 97 different directions while laughing. I tried to put myself in the place of the person who has just hacked off his left arm with a chainsaw, being wheeled into the emergency room, and being fitted with various IV drips, bandages, and being prepped to avoid shock.

I then imagine that he turns to whomever seems to be in charge and says, "Now, of course, there will be a female doctor working on me, correct? And your hospital does have the proper balance on its nursing staff between blacks, asians, caucasians, and east indians, correct? I mean, we both know that what is important here is that your hospital extend equal opportunity to the community - an impossibility without a properly diverse staff. And I wouldn't want my treatment skewed by having only those with a WASPy, Western perspective working on me...."

It's a hospital. There is only one thing that matters: technical skill in saving and preserving life.

Like the NBA, for instance, where the only issue is putting the round ball in the proper hole. I notice that nobody is agitating for affirmative action for midget Jews or Asian women in the NBA, are they?

Lesson for the Day: You can either be one of the "25 Noteworthy Companies by Diversity Inc. magazine" or you can be solvent. You choose. While WaMu was "winning points for competitive diversity policies and programs" it was bleeding red ink all over its ledgers. Perhaps if WaMu had been less "sensitive" to minorities of every kind, and more watchful of its loan recipients, it would not be a part of J.P. Morgan as we speak.

Only in America, where a nonentity such as Oprah Winfrey becomes wealthy and widely-respected, could people really believe that "a variety of perspectives" and "reaching out to the Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered, and Bisexual communities" is more important than maintaining solvency.

Where are all the American Poverty Pimps and Race Whores complaining about this one?

Lesson: If you engage in principled opposition to a black liberal in America, you are a racist, though your disagreements center only on ideas and have nothing to do with skin color. Barack Obama: Foreign Policy Genius

On the day after Billy Bob Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama was elected, I noted that the world - and the United States in particular - would be less safe because of his election.

Obama's lack of a realistic vision of human nature, especially as such a vision translates into an effective foreign policy, guarantees that there will be more terrorist attacks on Americans and that foreign policy interests will suffer.

George H. W. Bush, and his son Dubya, while constantly criticized by the neurotic left, actually managed to secure significant cooperation from foreign governments in their foreign policy excursions. I still remember the utter surprise I felt when I learned that the Saudi Arabian government was cooperating with the U.S. in the Iraq operation. And of course, George W. managed to get nearly worldwide cooperation for both the actions in Iraq and in Afghanistan - even from the likes of the French and the Japanese.

















Obama set as a core goal of his G20 trip to gain commitments from current allies to send more of their troops into Afghanistan.

As everything involving foreign policy for Obama - from his Russian "easy button" to the G20 itself - he was an utter and complete failure.

Our closest allies, the British, committed to send 700 additional troops - but only for the time surrounding upcoming elections in Afghanistan. Obama had sought in excess of 1,000 troops with a commitment to much longer involvement.

Other than that, only the Belgians and Spanish are sending troops. The Belgians will send 35 "trainers," and the Spanish will send 12. Yes, you read that right - 47 new troops combined from those two countries.

After Obama smarmily reminded the Communists that North Korea's unwillingness to be properly put in their place by his "warnings" was precisely the type of behavior "that has led to North Korea's isolation in the international community for a long time" on April 3, Pyongyang launched a test missle over Japan on April 5.

Barack Obama: Ghetto Fabulous

There is a type of populism that is admirable. Think of Thomas Jefferson answering the door of the White House himself. And in his bathrobe.

But then there is a type of cluelessness born of being firmly rooted in the lower classes, no matter how much wealth and power one may amass.

And Barack Obama is one of the most classless individuals on the planet, for shizzle.

When the leaders of two countries meet for the first time, it is customary for them to exchange gifts with one another. Generally, the gifts are simple, classy, and unique expressions of some aspect of the home country's culture or history. Think of a bottle of wine from France, or something containing a small diamond from South Africa.

When Barack Obama met English Prime Minister Gordon Brown for the first time in the White House, Brown brought him an exquisite carved ornamental pen holder from the planks of the English anti-slavery ship, HMS Gannet. Simple. Exquisite. Unique. Meaningful. Reservedly English.

In return, Barack Obama offered to Prime Minister Brown a sack of 25 DVDs. Now wait - good DVDs. Psycho was one of them. Star Wars.

As of today, more than 2,000 letters of apology from U.S. citizens have been received by the English government.

Brown's gift? Exquisite. Meaningful. Obama's gift? Wal-Mart. Trailer park. Ghetto.

To make matters worse, Obama seems blissfully ignorant that DVDs are regionally coded, to make it impossible for new DVD releases to be mass-released overseas while the movies themselves are still in theaters in foreign countries. So the DVDs given by Obama are not even capable of being played in England.

What happens when you take a committed socialist with no experience in governance, who has never so much as held a legitimate adult job (and yes, I know he taught law, and having graduated from law school, I utterly deny that being a law professor is an adult job), who is full of style and resentment but utterly lacks substance and wisdom, and make him president?

Barack Obama is dishonest and incompetent at best. At worst, those folks who maintain that he actually has a strategy to run the nation into the ground in order to do away with Constitutional government may actually be on to something.

During the campaign, it was a cute (though legitimate) recurring theme for those of us who knew Obama wasn't quite up to the job to ask his brain-dead cultlike following, "What does Hope and/or Change mean exactly?" One may look back in my own blogs here on thoughts and note that numerous times I referenced this question. Of course, no genuine answer ever came. Variations on this theme included asking the zombie left, between the gutteral moans accompanying their Obamagasms, "Exactly which position of Obama's do you agree with?" Well, of course, since Obama never actually took a position (other than the fifth-grade essay variety: "War bad, Peace good!"), no answers were ever forthcoming on that question either.

Well, now we know.

The Change promised by Obama includes the surrender of all fiscal responsiblity. Obama has increased the public debt of the United States by more in his first less-than-hundred-days than any other president in the history of the United States - and more than all of them combined. The cumulative federal deficit for the United States, as accumulated over more than 200 years of history, was $4.4 trillion when Obama took office. In less than 100 days in office, Obama has already proposed $4.8 trillion in deficit spending. Yet he continues to promise that the federal budget deficit will be halved by the end of his first term. Yeah, right. And Gitmo is closing and the soldiers in Iraq are coming home, right?

The Hope promised by Obama, then, certainly involves the ethereal hope that somebody, someday, may be able to pay all this fiat money back.

The Change promised by Obama includes the end of American leadership in the world economy. Again, before Obama's first 100 days had ended, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was reduced to panhandling on the streets of Beijing - showing up at an economic meeting in China and, with hat in hand and trained monkey dancing, begging the Chinese not to stop investing in American government paper. "After all," she crooned, "we really need your money, and if we go down, you guys will lose everything you have already invested!" A stunning argument, sure to go down in the annals of rhetoric as one of the great appeals in all of human history.

The Chinese responded by proposing a new worldwide currency administered by the International Monetary Fund that would relieve them of the need of the American greenback entirely.

So the Hope promised by Obama likely involves the ephemeral wish that perhaps somebody other than the Chinese will start lending us money so that we can fund Obama's federal shopping spree.

The Change promised by Obama includes the end of the private sector's freedom from governmental intervention. Yes, the federal government, the same people who brought you such marvels of efficiency and service as the Post Office, is now going to make the rules for private businesses.

Remember that the very mortgage schemes that firms such as Countrywide mastered to their own detriment were originally dreamed up by Democrats and the Clinton administration in an attempt to get people into houses who could not afford the mortgages for those houses. Who saw a mortgage problem coming when you lent mortgage money to people who could not repay it? (Hint: Democrats) Now, dressed in his Super Socialist red cape, Obama rushes in and says, "The pound of flesh that I exact from the firms who did exactly what we Democrats demanded that they do, and now need governmental rescuing because of it, is that I, Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama, the Super Socialist, will now be making decisions on how to run these private companies. I will be making decisions on wage issues (so you guys over there give back those contractual bonuses!) and I will be making hiring decisions (so the head of GM is now summarily fired without Due Process of law).

So apparently the Hope promised by Obama involves the wispy notion that the federal government, who cannot adequately deliver mail or make laws without melting down the mortgage industry, is going to be able to directly run multinational organizations like AIG and GM better than people who actually have money to make or lose based on performance.

And this is killer: because Obama has so royally screwed matters up in less than 100 days in office, now the government has a hyperfemme help-me-emote website that will, I suppose, offer governmental subsidies for facial tissues since I can't stop crying as I look at the whole world collapsing under Obama's gentle and incompetent tutelage. The essence of Obamazombie hope is crystallized in the new Nanny State website, "Getting Through Tough Economic Times" at http://www.samhsa.gov/economy/. Note to self: there is a better way to get through tough economic times, and it is a proven success - ELECT REAGAN.

Finally, the Change promised by Obama includes such a headlong, trainwreck, rush into socialism that even Eurosocialists are frightened by America's descent into Marxism. Who ever thought we would see the day when the Swedes and the French would helpfully offer advice to America: "Perhaps you need to slow down on your socialist scheming?" Who ever thought that the economy of the United States could be so poorly managed - in a mere 100 days or less at that! - that the Chinese Communists would begin to lecture us on fiscal responsibility?

The real Hope? I hope the next two years goes quickly.... Vote Republican in 2010.

And I hope that a law will soon be passed taking the privilege of voting away from the brain-dead buffoons who voted for Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama. They've done enough damage already.

Obama: A Lying Liberal of Clintonesque Proportions

Of course, people in the know warned that Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama was the most liberal member of the senate when he was running for office. Unfortunately, the folks who voted for him don't understand reality enough to differentiate between "tax and spend" and "rock star," so it really didn't matter.

*Obama ADMITS that his budget would cause a spike in the single-year deficit to unheard-of proportions, escalating the deficit nearly $2 trillion dollars to almost $4 trillion dollars (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D96JCFLG1&show_article=1 ).

* Spending for Fiscal Year 2009 under Obama will be approximately $12,000 for EVERY AMERICAN - not every family - but EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN.
