Newt Gingrich, who is the top Twitterer at Top Conservatives on Twitter (TCOT), has called for the immediate withdrawal of recent nominee to the Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor, based on his classification of her (rightly) as a racist.
Sotomayor stated in 2001, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experience would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."
The American Bar Association also lists Sotomayor as a member of the racist group, the National Council of La Raza.
ATLANTIC CITY - President Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama ended up in the middle of an unlikely controversy this morning when Donald Trump revealed that the President shared the same homophobic, intolerant views as did Miss California, Carrie Prejean.
In his announcement that Prejean would be maintaining her crown, The Donald said
Homosexual activists, who had been demanding that Miss California be stripped of her crown since her "honorable" and "honest" answer in the Miss USA competition, then began to demand that Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama also be relieved of his crown.
Perez Hilton, rumored to have experienced significant lightness in the loafers for many years, said of Obama (after somewhat insensitively referring to him as a 'dumb b***ch'):
The reaction of Hilton and other homosexual activists to President Obama's intolerance and political incorrectness has relieved suspicions that the primary cause for the movement's hostility to Miss Carrie Prejean was her open confession of faith in God, and her implicit moral condemnation of their position. Thus, the homosexual activists who called for Prejean's removal as Miss California are shown to be people of consistency and principle rather than mere political opportunists and haters of all things moral and/or Christian.

Conservatives are often presented as being somehow less-than-brilliant. On MSNBC recently, Janeane Garofalo asserted, "The limbic brain inside a right-winger, or Republican, or Conservative, or your average white-power activist... the limbic brain is much larger in their headspace than in a reasonable person, and it's pushing against the frontal lobe, so their synapses are misfiring.... It is a neurological problem that we are dealing with."
Yet when the positions of Conservatives and Liberals in the modern world are compared, it is clearly evident that Liberalism is wholly composed of anti-intellectualism. Every single logical error known to man is duplicated continuously by liberals.
Garofalo herself is an example. She has nothing meaningful to say about any political issue whatsoever, so she simply practices the attack against the man error, called in philosophy the error of the ad hominem attack. She assumes, with no evidence other than her own prejudices, that those who disagree with her are retarded with swollen brains, racists, violent, and irrational.
Yet she offers nothing other than constant slander to prove her points.
Further, these "brilliant" liberals are known for their own personal incompetence (Carter, Clinton, and now Obama), hardly the mark of intelligence.
Liberalism constantly pleads two inconsistent sides of the same issue. This is never more clearly in evidence than in every single assertion made by feminists.
Feminists simultaneously offer that women are capable of anything that men can do. Then they demand affirmative action and governmental subsidies so that women can get busy doing what men are already doing.
Feminists simultaneously offer that women are incapable of lying about sexual violence, then demand that evidentiary standards for such allegations be lowered because, too often, when a woman makes an allegation her allegation is wholly unsubstantiated or contains volumes of contradictory testimony.
Even economically, this very week Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama demonstrated his utter comfort with inconsistency when he urged "fiscal responsibility" by demanding that his cabinet find a way to cut $100 million from its operating budget. This, after he singlehandedly has proposed enough spending in less than 100 days in office to double the entire federal budget, built from the year 1776 to the end of the Bush administration.
John McCain and George W. Bush spent much of the time period from 2001-2008 warning Congress that Democratic initiatives enacted under Bill Clinton to lend mortgage money to minorities who could not afford to buy homes had the potential to wipe out the American economy. Democrats like Barney Frank and Charles Schumer actively argued that Republicans were wrong in their warnings, and Barack Obama conveniently ignored such warnings. Today, of course, Democrats say that the meltdown was George W. Bush's fault.
Finally, Democrats are the masters of the "Big Lie" concept of Goebbels, who said, when he was a Nazi propagandist, "Tell a lie big enough, long enough, and people will believe it." Perhaps the greatest illustration of this is the continued warbling of ignorant libs that there was "no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq." Of course, it is a long-established fact that sarin gas was found in Iraq, and sarin gas is a "weapon of mass destruction."
So given that all of the evidence and logic is on the side of Conservatives, I once thought that Democrats were merely liars - that nobody was as stupid as they constantly pretend to be. But then today I ran across this quote from one of the Godfathers of Liberalism in America. And this quote, coupled with the 100-year history of liberalism in America, simply makes me think that Liberalism/Marxism/being a Democrat/whatever is simply an intentional, morally-culpable excursion into utter stupidity.
William O. Douglas was a Supreme Court Justice for nearly 37 years (the longest-serving justice ever), retiring in 1975. He is widely regarded as the greatest liberal legal mind of his age. University of Chicago president Robert Maynard Hitchens called Douglas "the most outstanding law professor in the nation" before his appointment to the Supreme Court.
Yet, what was Douglas' view of his own "decision making" from the bench?
Mr. Brainy, excuse me, JUSTICE BRAINY, said, "I come to my liberalism honestly. I make up my mind based on my emotions then I just use my mind to figure out some way to justify what I already want to do." One of the leading "intellectuals" of the liberal movement admits - well, he admits he isn't really an intellectual. He just "feels" things. He is led by his emotions, not his mind. Sort of like your average 17-year old girl.
Perhaps it is not the Conservatives who are the anti-intellectuals, Ms. Garofalo?

As far back as the Clinton administration, Republicans, particularly John McCain, and later officials of the George W. Bush administration, warned Democrats of an impending housing market problem due to the politicalization of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Beginning in April 2001, the Bush administration complained that the size of the two quasi-governmental entities, coupled with a troublesome regulatory environment inherited from the Clinton administration (i.e., the subprime loan initiatives rammed through Congress by Clinton and the Congressional Black Caucus), portended a "potential problem" which could lead to "strong repercussions in financial markets" if not immediately addressed.
In 2003, the Bush administration upgraded its warning concerning the two housing giants to the status of "systemic risk," indicating that problems with the two would likely extend beyond the housing market itself and have a detrimental effect upon the entire American economy. That year, Treasury Secretary John Snow was pushing Congress to more actively exercise its regulatory powers over both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, asking for a regulatory agency that would focus on "the safety and soundness of their activities."
Democratic Congressman Barney Frank (MA), however, who had already placed one of his homosexual lovers, Herb Moses, in a leadership position at Fannie Mae, oddly enough as Assistant Director of Product Initiatives (a position that had direct oversight of subprime lending programs), indignantly insisted to Snow that "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are NOT in a crisis." In fact, Frank insisted that the role of the federal government was to encourage more subprime lending to minority and low-income homebuyers.
Frank said, "The more people... exaggerate the [lack of] safety and soundness, the more people conjure up the possibility of serious financial losses to the Treasury, which I do not see... we see entities [Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac] which are fundamentally sound financially... and even if there were a problem the federal government doesn't bail them out [HUH?!?!?!?, ed.], ... then the less I think we see in terms of affordable housing." Emphasis added.
In 2005, Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan warned, "Enabling these institutions to increase in size - and they will once the crisis in their judgment passes - we are placing the total financial system of the future at a substantial risk." Greenspan specifically tied the potential insolvency of Fannie and Freddie, and consequent meltdown of the financial system, to the lack of a responsible regulatory regime.
John McCain, in a Senate speech in 2006, stated, "For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac... and the sheer magnitude of these GSEs [Government-Sponsored Entities] and the role that they play in the housing market.... [Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac] need to be reformed without delay."
Once again, the incompetent Marxist social engineering of Democrats has backfired. The housing market crisis that precipitated the wider financial meltdown was wholly the product of the Maoist thinking of Bill Clinton and the Congressional Black Caucus, and was roundly defended by such liberal blunt objects as Barney Frank and Charles Schumer.
Who saw clearly what was happening? Why, of course, those whom the Democrats ignored at the time of their warnings but find the cojones to blame now! George W. Bush, John McCain, Alan Greenspan.... Note, however, that almost as an afterthought, the reporter announces that, on what could have been the most significant legislation on the issue, Obama "did not weigh in."
What are the odds that Obama and his bunkies are going to solve the problem that they were not wise enough to see in the first place, in spite of all the warnings and signs to the contrary?
In a world in which such talentless morons as Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears can be considered "stars" in any sense of the word, I look back with great longing on the days when people became famous because they actually had done something worthwhile. I remember when people could actually play the guitar, and that was the key to being a rock star (Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes). I remember when men built companies (Ross Perot) rather than inherited money (Donald Trump). I remember when women became famous because they were beautiful and talented actresses (Lynda Carter) rather than simply cheesy, young, rich, train wrecks (Paris Hilton). I remember when politicians built careers and showed leadership for decades (Ronald Reagan) rather than simply being a worthless empty suit, a political flavor-of-the-month (Barack Obama).
The one person that sort of functions in my own mind as the watershed for when fame was disjoined from substance, and style began to predominate, is a singer named Christopher Cross. An ugly guy, overweight, and not particularly socially adept - he wasn't the kind of musician that would likely be found on a typical teenage girl's bedroom wall. But boy could Christopher Cross sing. He had talent. Nothing to look at, mind you, but he oozed talent.
That was the 1970s. Jump ahead nearly 40 years to a time when A Messiah is anointed based on his ability to move men with his great swelling words. A Messiah is promised who has spiritual depth and a wisdom beyond his years. And of course these false hopes are only maintained during the campaign by controlling his appearances more than a person stricken with OCD controls their bathroom's tap.
And of course the style falls away and reveals the stunning lack of substance when the election is over: a bungling idiot incapable of forming an English sentence without a teleprompter, a fool incapable of forming a cabinet, a liar incapable of telling the truth, and a socialist incapable of masking his naked thirst for power.
How refreshing to find, in a world corrupted by style, that substance still lives. There may be hope for society yet....

The current estimated future obligations for the United States in regards to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are $1.25 quadrillion.
The Obama presidency, in less than 100 days, has already spent or proposed in the neighborhood of $10 trillion. Yes, that is $10 thousand billion.
The federal deficit amassed in over 200 years from the American War for Independence in 1776 to the administration of George W. Bush in 2008 was roughly $11 trillion.
The total interest on the U.S. debt is $1.2 billion per day.
Today, Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama demanded that his cabinet find a way to save $100 million.
Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano today indicated that her executive department can save millions of dollars each year by purchasing office supplies in bulk.
"According to [Napolitano], millions of dollars can be saved by making changes in such things as how the department orders office supplies, gets computer software and uses energy."
So the answer for Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama's DOUBLING of the federal debt in less than 100 days is to, in the future, purchase paper clips from Sam's Club and Office Depot?
The AP (apparently now fully recovered from campaign-season orgasms) even reports the cuts as making hardly a "dime's worth of difference."
While we are on the subject of lying (see last post), and since I am dying to introduce the subject of weirdness (see this post), it's worth taking a look at Billy Bob Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama's nominee to head the White House's Office of Legal Counsel.
Dawn Johnson, a professor of law at Indiana University and thoroughly unhinged left-wing ideologue, has compared restrictions on abortion to governmental "conscription" of a woman's body.
Further, Johnson denies that, at least vis-a-vis the question of abortion, there is no such thing as a "father" or a "child," there is only a woman's body and a "fetus."
Please don't anyone tell her that "fetus" is the Latin term for "baby."
Johnson says that restrictions on abortion are a violation of the Thirteenth Amendment of the Constitution, which states, in part, "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude... shall exist within the United States...."
Following a recent National Review article by Andrew McCarthy which blew the lid off of Johnson's outlandish theories, Johnson denied having used a Thirteenth Amendment rationale when she had argued before the Supreme Court.
Yet she stated, in that argument, "Statutes that curtail abortion choice are disturbingly suggestive of involuntary servitude, prohibited by the Thirteenth Amendment, in that forced pregnancy requires a woman to provide continuous physical service to the fetus in order to further the state's asserted interest" (emphasis added).
In 1989, Johnson told Glamour magazine, "Any move by courts to force a woman to have a child amounts to involuntary servitude" (emphasis added).
Liars, apparently, attract liars. And socialists, apparently, nominate neurotic women lawyers....
I recently dropped by the hospital that my wife works at to have lunch with her. In the cafeteria, there was a big banner strung over the entire length of one of the walls touting the hospital's "Commitment to Diversity." Then there were several terms superimposed over black, white, asian, hispanic, east indian, etc., people which apparently are virtues that I am supposed to associate with the concept of "Diversity": opportunity, fairness, perspective... blah blah blah.
Sitting there, I tried to contain both my rage and the incomprehensible desire to spew food in 97 different directions while laughing. I tried to put myself in the place of the person who has just hacked off his left arm with a chainsaw, being wheeled into the emergency room, and being fitted with various IV drips, bandages, and being prepped to avoid shock.
I then imagine that he turns to whomever seems to be in charge and says, "Now, of course, there will be a female doctor working on me, correct? And your hospital does have the proper balance on its nursing staff between blacks, asians, caucasians, and east indians, correct? I mean, we both know that what is important here is that your hospital extend equal opportunity to the community - an impossibility without a properly diverse staff. And I wouldn't want my treatment skewed by having only those with a WASPy, Western perspective working on me...."
It's a hospital. There is only one thing that matters: technical skill in saving and preserving life.
Like the NBA, for instance, where the only issue is putting the round ball in the proper hole. I notice that nobody is agitating for affirmative action for midget Jews or Asian women in the NBA, are they?
Then I woke up this morning and got a gander at Washington Mutual's final press release, before being bought out of its insolvency by a more responsible bank:

WaMu Recognized as Top Diverse Employer—Again
Company ranks in top ten of Hispanic Business’ Diversity Elite and earns perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index
SEATTLE, WA (September 24, 2008) – Washington Mutual, Inc. (NYSE:WM), one of the nation’s leading banks for consumers and small businesses, has once again been recognized as a top employer by Hispanic Business magazine and the Human Rights Campaign.
Hispanic Business magazine recently ranked WaMu sixth in its annual Diversity Elite list, which names the top 60 companies for Hispanics. The company was honored specifically for its efforts to recruit Hispanic employees, reach out to Hispanic consumers and support Hispanic communities and organizations.
The Human Rights Campaign, the largest national gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) civil rights organization, also awarded WaMu its second consecutive 100 percent score in the organization’s 2009 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), which measures progress in attaining equal rights for GLBT employees and consumers. WaMu joins the ranks of 259 other major U.S. businesses that also received top marks in the annual survey. The CEI rated a total of 583 businesses on GLBT-related policies and practices, including non-discrimination policies and domestic partner benefits.
In both surveys, WaMu earned points for competitive diversity policies and programs, including the recently established Latino, African American and GLBT employee network groups, all of which have a corporate executive sponsor and champion.
“Diversity is an integral part of cultivating a welcoming, innovative and dynamic workplace here at WaMu. We are proud to be recognized for the opportunities and benefits we offer to all of our employees, including the specific efforts we have made to engage Hispanics and the GLBT community,” said Steve Rotella, WaMu president and COO. “We are committed to diversity at WaMu and pledge to listen to our customers and work closely with our employees to continue to make progress.”
These two recent honors build upon diversity recognitions WaMu received earlier in 2008. WaMu was named one of 25 Noteworthy Companies by Diversity Inc magazine and one of the Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity by Hispanic Enterprise magazine.
Perhaps if the execs at Washington Mutual had been paying more attention to running a tight ship and balancing their books and making loans to creditworthy clients, it might continue to exist as an independent bank today.
Lesson for the Day: You can either be one of the "25 Noteworthy Companies by Diversity Inc. magazine" or you can be solvent. You choose. While WaMu was "winning points for competitive diversity policies and programs" it was bleeding red ink all over its ledgers. Perhaps if WaMu had been less "sensitive" to minorities of every kind, and more watchful of its loan recipients, it would not be a part of J.P. Morgan as we speak.
Only in America, where a nonentity such as Oprah Winfrey becomes wealthy and widely-respected, could people really believe that "a variety of perspectives" and "reaching out to the Gay, Lesbian, Transgendered, and Bisexual communities" is more important than maintaining solvency.
