Proposed Presidential Portrait of Obama

Proposed Official Presidential Portrait of Barack Hussein Hoover Muhammad bin Obama (c)

I want to get into the act while the money is still good. Numerous artists have made scads of money developing striking portraits designed to bring out our Fair President's essence. I offer my interpretation not only to make money in the present (I think you will agree that the above offering would make an excellent T-shirt!), but I think that my interpretation works well to memorialize The One as his eventual official presidential portrait.

The reasons why my interpretation is such a fitting one are obvious, but being the utter pedant that I am, I cannot resist explaining my artistic composition.

First, note the similarity to Obama's official propaganda seal:

The similarity between the two will help Obama's supporters, a class largely illiterate, to identify the significance of the portrait! The round shape, mimicking the "O" in Obama, the white background ringed by a border. This has the classic shape of an old-timey reader, helping the illiterate to learn their ABCs and basic words: A is for apple, B is for boy, O is for zero or Obama! Who says that I do not "respect diversity?" My design appeals to both those who can read (Republicans) and those who cannot (Obama Supporters).

Secondly, note that the proposed official portrait stunningly encapsulates the contribution that Barack Hussein Hoover Muhammad bin Obama will make to the long-term good of the United States of America: Zero. It also strikingly captures the qualifications that BHO44 has for performing the job of President of the United States: Zero. And of course, it represents the real change that will ultimately be ushered in by The Messiah: Zero. Conversely, and somewhat frighteningly, it also represents the measure of the Dow Jones Industrial Average when Obama and Biden finish "guessing" about how to fix the economy: Zero.

Finally, I think that my offering should be adopted as the official Presidential Portrait of Barack Hussein Hoover Muhammad bin Obama because it accurately reflects who he is: an empty suit. A person of no distinction whatsoever. A person of such mild accomplishment that he reckons being the editor of the law review and managing his own campaign to be significant leadership experience. In short, a person of such minor accomplishment that he might as well not even exist. Al Bundy's four touchdowns in one game looks to be an astounding achievement by contrast.

Join me in petitioning the Office of the President and the eventual Presidential Library (certainly to be funded by various Kenyan, Iranian, and North Korean interests!), and all others in relevant authority, to adopt my artistic presentation as the official Presidential Portrait of Barack Hussein Hoover Muhammad bin Obama!

I have hope! Let's work for change! Let's change the Presidential Portrait from a mere picture to something really meaningful!

CBO On Obama Recession: Years To Recovery

Today, the Director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, Douglas Elmendorf, on the CBO Director's blog, summarized his most recent testimony before Congress.

* While a "recovery" (read: the end of "negative growth") is expected in the second half of this year, unemployment will continue to spike and will stabilize this year in excess of 10%.

* Unemployment's return to pre-Obama levels will likely take "several years" (read: when The Messiah is no longer in office).

* "Even if the economy returns to positive growth this year, the loss in output and income during this downturn will be huge" (note: even if - doesn't sound like we can expect a return to positive growth this year).

* The difference between "actual" and "potential" output of the economy (read: lost production) will exceed $1 trillion both this year and next, and "CBO’s forecast in August is likely to show even larger shortfalls in output over the next few years" (read: the brakes have effectively been put on the economy).

* "The current recession and its aftermath will be the most severe economic downturn of the postwar period."

* "Most experts also believe that persistent large deficits reduce capital accumulation and thereby slow the growth of output and incomes over time. Thus, the large deficits that CBO projects for the years after the economy has returned to full employment are more worrisome" (read: while the CBO is giving a grudging pass to the current $1.7 trillion deficit, it is sounding the alarm that the party can't go on forever, and Obama's spending is going to have to stop).

*"The sharp increase in debt this year and next raises the risk that investors might lose confidence in U.S. government debt as a safe haven" (read: hyperinflation has already started, and we can't trust the collective mainstream media of other countries to keep it a secret like our own home-grown fourth estate is pleased to do).

Odd that the mainstream media hasn't really made any of these points since the Director's testimony was just yesterday. Perhaps CBS and CNN and MSNBC do not know that the CBO director has a blog...?

Press Conference for Poochie

So the Obama family is trooped out to hold a press conference...?

To present a united front in the face of a plague of worldwide piracy? No.

To assure the American people that families can persevere through the downward spiral of Obama's economic policies? No.

To argue that Iran and North Korea should lay off the nukes, "for the children?" Nothing so mundane as all that.

No, this family press conference is about something REALLY important. This press conference is to introduce the dog. A Portuguese Water Buffalo (did I get that wrong?) named "Bo."

Ewwwwwwww. Look at all that slobbering.

Not from Bo. From the press.

He is such an attention whore.

Not the dog, I mean President Obama.

Barack Obama: Too Much Spending for Democrats!

Now the Obama administration is stacking chits and keeping score against DEMOCRATIC opposition to his spending-free-as-water ways.

Apparently, Billy Bob Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama is too radical a socialist even for DEMOCRATS at this point.

[The Obama Administration's} targets were initially Republicans, as team Obama ran ads depicting the GOP as the "party of no." But now the fire is being trained on Democrats worried about runaway spending.

Americans United is going after Democrats who are skeptical of Mr. Obama's plans to double the national debt in five years and nearly triple it in 10. The White House is taking aim at lawmakers in 12 states, including Democratic Sens. Kent Conrad, Ben Nelson, Mary Landrieu, Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor. MoveOn.Org is running ads aimed at 10 moderate Senate and House Democrats. And robocalls are urging voters in key districts to pressure their congressman to get in line.

Promises, Promises

That Democrats have their own, unique (read: "special") definition of what "keeping one's campaign promises" means is obvious. Who can forget George Stephanopoulis' statement that Billy Bob "Floral Oral" Clinton "kept all of his promises that he intended to keep"?

Billy Bob Barry Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama seems to be of the same philosophy on campaign promises. Let's see - I promise to close Gitmo, NOT! I promise to bring the troops home, NOT! And now, I promise to not raise taxes on the middle class., PSYCH!

From an AP wire report:

WASHINGTON (AP) - One of President Barack Obama's campaign pledges on taxes went up in puffs of smoke Wednesday.

The largest increase in tobacco taxes took effect despite Obama's promise not to raise taxes of any kind on families earning under $250,000 or individuals under $200,000.

This is one tax that disproportionately affects the poor, who are more likely to smoke than the rich.

Somebody wanna start explaining to me the concept of the "Lyin' Messiah" now?
